The D Technique of Execution: The Proven Method of Turning Desire into Achievement.

In today’s world where competition presents everywhere, setting a small goals and getting them completed on time is very important. The world is changing rapidly and we also need to change with world. Whether you are a student or a working professional, learning new things is very important. When you are a student learning is your first responsibility whereas when you are a working professional you have to manage your learning parallel with your work, whether it's related to your current work or switching to new work. So it’s very important to learn the technique which can turn your desire into achievement.

So let’s start with an example, ‘ABC’ is a working professional who is working in the same organization from so many years but not getting happiness while doing his work. he is working on autopilot mode means following the same rituals every day. He is good at his work, but suffering from a lack of work satisfaction. So one day he decided to make a change in his career he started finding other technologies or can say fields, he take few months in brainstorming and finally he decided one technology. So he was excited about his new journey then he started finding resources to accomplish his learning goal and finally after a few days he accumulate everything which is required to accomplish his goal. Then make a plan according to his convenience. He Sticks to his plan with consistent efforts and after so much hard work and patience achieve his goal.

So let’s correlate this story with the technique, which is the sole purpose of this blog post. The name of this concept is D (Desire, Decision, Durability) Technique. So what does it mean ? Let's dive deep into it,  When the ‘ABC’ was bored by his work, he reached the desire to find another technology or field, for his career. he made the decision to find various resources and strategies to accomplish his desire. So what actually happens is, change starts with desire, then the desire triggers the decision, and then the decision becomes responsible for the durability towards the goal.

So D Technique starts with desire. Desire is defined as the strong feeling of wanting something that is considered as valuable, enjoyable or satisfying. The second part is a decision, we make a decision and start executing, so the next part is durability, so we have to stick to the path until we achieve our goal, Durability is related to doing consistent efforts while handling ups and downs to reach the target.

How does it work?

Suppose you have a target to accomplish, the target would be anything like mastering any skill or learning new technology or starting a business or if you are a student, then getting a good score. So before starting you can have multiple thoughts in your mind, first, you have to select, what actually you want to do, which means you have to avoid distraction and select one superior idea, it involves the desire selection, There are so many criteria you can use for desire selection based on your goal. The second part is the decision after the selection of desire, you have to start executing, which involves resource accumulation and strategy building for achieving the goal. The final part is durability towards the decision you have taken, it involves consistent efforts, and dealing with failures during your journey.

So simply, we can understand these 3 concepts as this,

DesireDesire is defined as the strong feeling of wanting something that is considered valuable, enjoyable, or satisfying. Desires can vary person to person, like learning new technology if you are a working professional, getting a good score in school if you are a student, starting a business, etc. In a single day, more than 50000 thoughts come to the mind and not all of these are desires. Desire is connected with seriousness. Desire is also a thought for which we are serious.

Let's start with a simple example: Jay was someone who was working in the Manufacturing domain for the last 3 years. The organization is involved in the manufacturing of cars. The responsibility of Jay was to supervise the process of car assembly. He was working with complete dedication. And as he already had a strong interest in analyzing data, he often did this while supervising. In a single day he might be think about so many thoughts like buying a new car next year, improving the process of car assembly, buying a new shirt, switching to the Analytics domain, etc. Out of of all this thoughts he was serious about switching to analytics domain. So out of all the thoughts, this thought has more weight, so we can consider this as desire.

Decision: This part is related to making a decision to start working on the desire we have. This part is the heart of the D technique. In this, we perform the activities to convert desire to results. This Section can vary on the basis of desires, like getting Good score in school requires a different strategy compared to learning a new skill while working. So it completely depends upon the Desire we have.

Let's continue the example, now Jay has a desire to learn analytics, so he starts thinking, how he can become an analyst. He starts searching for a roadmap. after reviewing multiple roadmaps, he creates his own version of a roadmap. Then he started learning the tools required to become an analyst. He was facing some challenges while learning, and sometimes he was about to give up. So, how could he pass this phase of ups and downs? lets move to the next component, Durability.

Durability: This part is totally related to mindset. We all know, failure is often a prerequisite part while achieving any goal. We should have a strong mindset to bounce back if got fail. So, Durability is related to staying on the path of the goal regardless of failures. This is all about a Consistent approach towards the goal, bouncing back from failure, and staying optimistic throughout the journey.

Let's continue the example, Jay got so many failures while learning Analytics, but he stayed optimistic, and every time he failed, he bounced back from failure. he follows durability. and after so much effort, he mastered the skill of analytics.

In conclusion, In this highly competitive scenario, we need some techniques to achieve our goal in an optimum period of time, so D Technique is one of them, which starts with the desire of the goal, deciding the execution of this goal, and following the durability throughout the journey to reach towards the goal. So, follow this technique to achieve your goal in life.

Thanks

The Distraction

The Real Distraction: So what is distraction?  There are so many definitions are there for distraction as well as, so many peoples observed there own form of distraction on the basis of there own experience in their life. so lets simplify, distraction. In simple, "the resistance which hold peoples from achieving their goals or increasing their time to achieve their goals, is what we can consider distraction" There are again so many from of distractions, varies from people to people. So on the basis of my experiences, i come up with the new definition, "Distraction is the inclination of choices towards the information or content which is either informative or entertaining but irrelevant to your goal in a given time." Our current phase of life is the accumulation of various small events that have happened  as well as small goals we have accomplished in the past. So success is the result of so many factors like hard work, consistency, etc but focus is one of the most ...

The Happiness Theory

The Happiness Theory The Happiness Theory Everyone wants to be happy, because happiness affects all the activities of your life. Mostly, when you are happy, it reflects in your work as well. Your performance remains at its peak when you are happy at work. On the other hand, when you are under stress or anxiety, your performance is affected. So, your happiness is directly connected to your performance. Even if you are pursuing activities like writing, painting, etc., happiness still affects the quality of the results. So, being happy is important. So I have created a Happiness Model which can improve your overall happiness proportion in your life.   The Triangle of Enduring Happiness Happiness is an inner aspect of the body, but it depends on some external factors. So, I have created this triangle of happiness, which has 3 main vertices: Health, Work, and Connections. These three vertices can have a great influence on the happiness of any person. There can be some...
