Happiness is a choice

Happiness is a Choice

Yesterday got the call from one of my friend. He was talking about his work ,that he is no more like his work, not interested in his work, Not happy with this work anymore and so on.

I found that he was nervous about his work. Then I remembered  his words when he was starting this work. At this time he was happy about this work, he was working with full passion.

I ask him does any change happen in your work ?
he said no.
then I ask, why your happiness shifted to pain ?

He doesn't have any answer on this question, Then I said, earlier you choose to be happy and now you choose to be unhappy with your stuff.

Happiness is a choice

Might be there are certain issues which makes him unhappy now but then finding solutions on this issues is the better way rather than complaining.

we can choose happiness in everything which we are doing but we mostly focus on entities which makes us unhappy.

There are easy ways by using them we can choose happiness. like thinking positively about our life, our work, etc. But mostly we prefer to choose our happiness on the behalf of others
For example,  we find happiness in social media then we find peoples which are showing more happiness on social media and we became more unhappy. Happiness is a internal thing we have to choose our own happiness in our daily rituals.

Following are some real facts about Happiness and unhappiness

1. Keep expectations low and performance high

This is the best way to be happy. If we focus on performance then we can achieve more. But we have to minimise our expectations. We have to limit our expectations and align our expectations with our performance.
Like if someone expect to get good grade in school then instead of thinking about the grades continuously, he should focus on studies because his grades are totally depends upon how well he studies!

2. Prefer Process rather than result

We set goals in life and thinking about how our life will be after achieving this goal, but this is the biggest cause of unhappiness. We have to focus on process of achieving goal rather than just goal.

The Distraction

The Real Distraction: So what is distraction?  There are so many definitions are there for distraction as well as, so many peoples observed there own form of distraction on the basis of there own experience in their life. so lets simplify, distraction. In simple, "the resistance which hold peoples from achieving their goals or increasing their time to achieve their goals, is what we can consider distraction" There are again so many from of distractions, varies from people to people. So on the basis of my experiences, i come up with the new definition, "Distraction is the inclination of choices towards the information or content which is either informative or entertaining but irrelevant to your goal in a given time." Our current phase of life is the accumulation of various small events that have happened  as well as small goals we have accomplished in the past. The Happiness Theory

The Happiness Theory The Happiness Theory Everyone wants to be happy, because happiness affects all the activities of your life. Mostly, when you are happy, it reflects in your work as well. Your performance remains at its peak when you are happy at work. On the other hand, when you are under stress or anxiety, your performance is affected. So, your happiness is directly connected to your performance. Even if you are pursuing activities like writing, painting, etc., happiness still affects the quality of the results. So, being happy is important. So I have created a Happiness Model which can improve your overall happiness proportion in your life.   The Triangle of Enduring Happiness Happiness is an inner aspect of the body, but it depends on some external factors. So, I have created this triangle of happiness, which has 3 main vertices: Health, Work, and Connections. These three vertices can have a great influence on the happiness of any person. There can be some...
