Jump swim and Emerge strategy

Hello all,

In this specific post we will focus on the most important issue, everyone suffered at least once in a lifetime, and that is, the anxiety of staying on your decision during initial phase.

So, let’s start with the practical example, jay is someone who is working in sales from last few years And he always wants to start his own business to use his own skills in his business. But every time when he decided to start, he fails, every time he got the reason, to delay or can say every time he finds new reason to not starts with his decision. So actually, this is not applicable for jay only, its applicable for everyone at least once in a lifetime but why such kind of dilemma happens and what is the reasons behind it. Mostly the reason behind it is, our brain resist change or can say consider the change as threat, another reason is the anxiety during initial phase. So can we deal with it, there are so many ways are there but today we will explore one practical method which can help you to overcome your second reason which is dealing with the dilemma of initial phase.

So, what is it?

The name of method is jump swim and emerge strategy, Looks like a swimming strategy! yes, it’s a swimming strategy and in this article, we will explore how this strategy will help you to deal with, overcoming the initial dilemma.

So according to this strategy, you just have to start with anything and then work hard without distraction for some period of time and you will cover most of your journey towards your goal.

Let's start with the analogy, When the swimmer jump into the water, initially he starts with underwater swimming and  try his best to cover more distance under water and then he emerges after some distance and time , mostly the only thing, he thinks during that phase is breathing and how long he can swim under water. Can you imagine, the swimmer feels so much resistance under water, but he focuses on his goal to maximize the distance by focusing on breathing.

In the same way, we can use this strategy in our life also. Most of the time we start working on our decision and often feels anxious at the starting phase. so we can consider this phase as a underwater phase and just like a swimmer we only have to focus on working with our decision. So, if you start preparing for any exam or want to learn the new skill like coding, the initial phase might be tough, but you have focus on process of achieving your goal instead of any distraction.

Let's start with the practical example, Mark is someone who started his own YouTube channel with niche health and fitness. So, for early days he was the only one who record videos, edit videos and publish on YouTube. For first few months he got many negative comments on his videos regarding content quality, videos editing quality. But he only focuses on consistently adding quality by making all the changes mention in the comments. He does not distract by the negative comments, but he continuously improves himself and after some time he got perfect in his skills and get so many followers.

So, what's the moral of this story, the initial time period of any task which is new, is very crucial like starting a new business, learning new skills, learning new language. So Focus is the key to get succeed in those early days of your journey.  If I put my own example, when I start writing , the initial time was very hard for me, no one in my family or friend circle have any idea about writing so I start the research from my own side and overcome this initial phase with consistent efforts and now time has been change, with time I am not become the best writer but writing becomes easy for me.

So, at the end what you can take from this blogpost, Take Decisions which are important for you just like I took to become a blogger then be consistent on your journey to complete your decisions, overcome the initial resistance by focus and the next journey will be easy for you.

I have already published the post for taking better decisions.

The Distraction

The Real Distraction: So what is distraction?  There are so many definitions are there for distraction as well as, so many peoples observed there own form of distraction on the basis of there own experience in their life. so lets simplify, distraction. In simple, "the resistance which hold peoples from achieving their goals or increasing their time to achieve their goals, is what we can consider distraction" There are again so many from of distractions, varies from people to people.
